Jericho Peoples' Summit

The “Peoples' Summit” in Jericho will take place in Jericho Stadium in the West Bank city of Jericho. The event will feature live music, speeches by foremost dignitaries and celebrities, statements from grassroots activists, and a dance performance.

Concurrent with the event in Jericho, Israeli moderates will gather in Tel Aviv to demonstrate their support for a two-state solution and an immediate return to negotiations, while international participants gather in locations around the world. This unprecedented People’s Summit will mark the first time that massive amounts of moderate Israelis and Palestinians gather simultaneously to unite in support of a two state agreement guaranteeing a viable, independent Palestinian state living in peace with Israel. 

Canadian rock star Bryan Adams, and Iraqi musician Ilham al-Madfai have both signed on as performers for the Jericho event, in addition to the foremost Palestinian musical talent.  The music and entertainment portion of the Jericho program is being overseen by the executive leadership of OneVoice Palestine.
