Tel Aviv Peoples' Summit

The Peoples' Summit in Tel Aviv will take place in HaYarkon Park, the largest public venue in Israel. The event will feature live music, speeches by foremost dignitaries and celebrities, statements from grassroots activists, and a laser show.
Concurrent with the event in Tel Aviv, Palestinian moderates will gather in the West Bank city of Jericho to demonstrate their support for a two-state solution and an immediate return to negotiations, while international participants gather in locations around the world. This unprecedented People’s Summit will mark the first time that massive amounts of moderate Israelis and Palestinians gather simultaneously to unite in support of a two state agreement guaranteeing a viable, independent Palestinian state living in peace with Israel.

The music and entertainment portion of the Tel Aviv program is being overseen by Shuki Weiss, a veteran concert producer and a pioneering force in the Israeli music scene. Over the past twenty years, Weiss has brought a number of leading international artists to Israel, including Madonna, Roger Waters, U2 and many others.
